As a registered charity the vast majority of the work of the Trust is carried out by a growing team of volunteers. At a recent Open Evening held at the Trust’s Purifier building, members were able to see the huge progress that volunteers have made in renovating this historic building. Currently, we have enough volunteers working on the Purifier, but other exciting volunteering projects are in the pipeline and new volunteers are always welcome, everyone has some skill they can offer.
We especially need help with a number of administrative tasks, including Newsletter distribution, managing merchandise stock, currently T shirts; supporting the Membership Secretary, and so on. None of these are onerous but they mount up when left to one person; delegated they become straightforward tasks for different people.
